Karbon Homes Durham

Karbon Homes has got underway on their latest raft of development activity – with three schemes totalling £18.5m in development value.

The three schemes are set to be delivered alongside contractor Partner Construction, delivering 115 homes, which breaks down into:

  • 66 new homes in Esh Winning
  • 30 new homes in Pelton Fell
  • 19 new homes in Annfield Plain

Karbon Homes – who’re speaking at the Housing & Build to Rent Conference in January, has been working alongside Durham County Council to identify housing demand in the three communities to ensure the houses cover off the needed housing types, with homes also available for affordable rent and rent-to-buy. Homes England has also supported the project with £4m of funding. [emaillocker id=”71749″]

Zoey Hawthorne, Assistant Director of Development Delivery at Karbon Homes, said: “We are making a significant investment in these high quality new developments in County Durham. Karbon already has a large presence in this part of the county, with over 11,500 existing homes, and we’re keen to add well insulated, modern homes to meet the needs of families in the area. Our development programme region-wide is currently providing around 500 new homes each year which make a significant contribution to meeting housing need in the North East.”
