MODA Living and their partners Apache Capital have set their sites on Birmingham, and following the start of The Mercian – the tallest residential tower in Birmingham – they’ve now submitted fresh plans for a new 722-home build-to-rent (BTR) project in the city. [emaillocker id=”71749″]

This new scheme will be at the heart of the Jewellery Quarter, situated on a 2.6-acre site on Great Charles Street. With a development value of £258m the scheme will take their development total to more than 1,200 homes in the city.

MODA Living – who’re speaking at our Future Developments in Birmingham Webinar – where they’ll be sharing more details on this scheme.

Managing Director at MODA Tony Brooks said: “Despite the current uncertainty and the challenges facing us all, we remain absolutely committed to Birmingham. We believe this submission puts the interests of the city and people of Birmingham first.”

Richard Jackson, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Apache Capital, added: “As a long-term investor and operator we are committed to delivering and expanding our build-to-rent pipeline with Moda Living. Despite the wider disruption caused by COVID-19, the sector remains highly attractive thanks to its defensive qualities and strong fundamentals, with a clear mismatch between demand and supply.”
