One of the country’s biggest collaborative new homes frameworks, involving 11 local authorities and housing associations in the North West, reopened last night.

The four-year, £540m JV North Contractors Framework is looking for at least 11 construction partners and applications must be submitted by May 11 (10am). [emaillocker id=”71749″]

In the last four years, JV North’s members oversaw the building of more than 4,500 properties in conjunction with grants received via the government’s Shared Ownership Affordable Homes Programme.

The framework is divided into three lots based on the value of the project and successful bidding partners can earn a place on no more than two lots:

  • No 1 (£120m): £1m-£4m (eight slots)
  • No 2 (£240m): £4m-£10m (eight)
  • No 3 (£180m): £10m plus (six)

Although the framework concentrates on the building of new homes, work may also include public realm works, small-scale infrastructure and small-scale commercial enterprise and regeneration.
