Specialist Build to Rent (BtR) developer Packaged Living has revealed fresh information on their Piccadilly East scheme in Manchester, ahead of public consultation launching today (4th May 2020).

Having purchased the 0.7-acre site in January they’ve worked up plans which includes: [emaillocker id=”71749″]

  • 350 residential units including;
  • One, two and three-bedroom privately rented homes
  • Roof gardens, community lounge and gym
  • 10,000 sq ft of retail space on the ground floor

Packaged Living are speaking on our Planning and Placemaking Webinar and taking part in our virtual one-day event, the Next Generation Developers Conference.

They’re now launching the consultation online due to the current Covid-19 situations, before hopefully submitted an application later this year. Construction would begin in 2021 if that is successful.

Mark Woodrow, Joint Managing Director of Packaged Living, said: “We are progressing our plans at a challenging time. Due to the proximity of Piccadilly East to Piccadilly station, the area is developing very quickly.

“The funding of the Leonardo Hotel and wider public realm consent has created real momentum in the neighbourhood and we are staying on programme to help boost the city centre economy coming out of lockdown.” [/emaillocker]
