At our inaugural UKREiiF event in May, Pagabo will be hosting their ‘Feel Good Games’ which will be raising money for their mental health charity ‘Pagabo Foundation’ – set up to help break down stigma within the construction industry and tackle the mental health crisis head on…

The games represent a fitness movement set up by the Pagabo foundation to get the construction industry moving in whatever way it can, with the very first official event taking place at UKREiiF, 17th-19th May 2022 in Leeds (which will hopefully be the first of many!). Despite the event raising money independently through their immersive obstacle course, there is also a wider encouragement for individuals, and businesses as a whole, to get moving in any way they want to raise money from now until the main event. Whether this be running, cycling, swimming or any other physical activity!

The games will be held on each of the three days of the event, where 18 teams will take part in an active assault course in an effort to promote better mental health through exercise (whilst raising funds for the foundation through participation). The games present this incredibly important message in a bold, physical capacity, and as the foundation believes that the first step is raising awareness, they hope this attraction will do just that and open up healthy conversations amongst delegates. They believe creating this opportunity to speak aloud about this epidemic has the potential to break down barriers and spread education on the subject. Which is another focus of the foundation, to educate as many people as possible on the different kinds of help available and how they can access these.

We believe these games are an inclusive way of shedding light on a serious problem we’re facing in this industry, with the aim of making real change. If you believe this too and would like to take part, or are interested in learning more about what’s involved, please submit your interest by following this link and registering your personal/firm details.
