Plans have been submitted for two mixed-use schemes in Derby, which will deliver 1,300 homes and 300,000 sq ft of commercial space near the Derbion shopping centre.

Redevelopment plans for the Eagle Market and Bradshaw Way Retail Park have also been drawn up by the same development team including Eurofund Group, Leonard Design Architects, Currie & Brown and Waterman.

The Eagle Quarter is the largest of the two outlined plans, and i set to see the development of 875 homes built across 11 buildings with one 29-storey building.

The proposals will also improve public access from the bus station and add additional shops and leisure outlets.
