Built Environment Networking New Appointments

Leeds-based construction and property events company Built Environment Networking are continuing their recruitment drive – with the announcement of three new appointments.

The company, which has recently relocated to larger premises at Thorpe Park in Leeds, have this year doubled its team as their events business continues to grow.

Newly appointed Partnerships Director Lee Cooper joins the company from ImTech Inviron, having previous experience within the industry with leading brands including Kier and CBRE. Of his appointment Lee said: “I’m delighted to be joining Built Environment Networking. The work they do across the UK helps to facilitate conversations which in turn leads to investment in our cities, the creation of new homes and jobs, and a boost in the UK economy.”

“Having spent over 10 years in the FM industry, I understand the real importance of both networking and building ongoing relationships, helping to build pipelines and sales. I’m looking forward to building on my existing and new relationships with key businesses within the industry and help them get access to the phenomenal opportunities the Built Environment Networking events open.”

The announcement of a new Partnerships Director was followed by two additional new recruits as the business continues to expand. Jill Rodham joins the business as a Partnerships Manager whilst Andrew Battye joins as a Research Executive.

Jill Rodham joins the business having worked previously with SAND Communications, JR Exhibitions and Bigga Ltd. She said of her appointment as Partnerships Manager: “I’m really happy to be joining the Built Environment Networking family and be part of the fantastic work they do across the UK. Having a solid background within the events industry from executing to successfully delivering corporate events, it seemed a natural choice to join the business. I’m really looking forward to building new relationships with key businesses and industry professionals to help them get access to the opportunities our events can unlock.”

Founded in 2011, Built Environment Networking has worked alongside businesses including Heathrow Airport, The Crown Estate, Transport for London, Vastint, Boeing and McLaren Automotive. In 2018 the company have hosted more than 70 events attended by almost 15,000 people across the UK and Ireland – partnering with the likes of HS2 and Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority to deliver events to drive investment and development across the UK.

Built Environment Networking are looking to add an additional two roles to their team in the early part of 2019 as they look to enhance their events offering throughout the next 18 months.
