Energy Management and Automation specialists, Schneider Electric, have officially confirmed their involvement in the UK’s Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF), which is set to take place between 16-18 May, in Leeds.

Schneider Electric accelerates the digital transformation of buildings, homes, infrastructure, and industry to create a smart and green future in the new electric world. Sustainability is at the core of Schneider Electric’s values – with commitments to carbon neutrality in their operations by 2025 to complete net zero CO2 emissions across their entire value chain by 2050.

Schneider Electric is set to showcase its sustainability and energy efficiency solutions to a network of over 6,000 investors, developers, occupiers, and local authorities in the UKREiiF exhibition hall. They have planned to extend their networking opportunities with a fringe event on the 17th and 18th of May hosted at their Leeds Innovation Hub. This Hub is home to Schneider’s cutting-edge innovation and technology such as EV charging, building management systems, digital services and more. The tour will give an overview of some of Schneider’s most popular solutions available for different industries including healthcare, education, real estate, and retail. Visitors can sign up here for Wednesday’s tour or here for Thursday’s tour, beginning at 8:30 am on both days.

Speaking of their involvement, Kas Mohammed, VP of Digital Energy at Schneider Electric said: “Partnerships are key components towards building a more sustainable world, and UKREiiF will be a great opportunity for Schneider Electric to connect with others in the industry looking to progress their sustainability and digitalisation efforts. Sustainability is our business’s driving force, so we’re excited to be sharing our digital solutions and supporting others in their net zero journeys.”

Keith Griffiths, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of UKREiiF, said: “We’re pleased to announce Schneider Electric’s continued support of UKREiiF.”

“UKREiiF has a major focus on reaching the UK’s net zero goals, with the majority of panels and sessions in 2022 focusing on how businesses can work together with local authorities to meet these challenges. The event will give Schneider Electric a platform to project their message and explore ways to work collaboratively to meet sustainability goals, with the sector’s most influential voices.”

Led by the UK’s leading property events company Built Environment Networking and supported by some of the biggest UK property and infrastructure companies, the second annual UKREiiF event will be held in Leeds on 16-18 May 2023. The forum will attract inward investment, generate economic growth, and drive a more sustainable and inclusive culture within the property and construction industries.
