Watford Borough Council has given Tellon Capital approval for a major development by Watford Junction.

The firm outlined plans for a a hotel and new office space, which will see Cassiobury House demolished and replaced. The hotel (thought to be Premier Inn) will be 13-storeys in height with 168 beds in total, whilst the office building will be eight storeys high. [emaillocker id=”71749″]

Amy Jones, Head of Planning at Tellon Capital, said the current building is “tired and outdated” and public consultations with the local community had helped them amend the design of the buildings.

The application only just passed by five votes to four, but Tellon Capital are now in a position to move forward with the project.
