Transport for London (TfL) has announced plans to work with major housing developer A2Dominion to create 400 new ‘affordable’ properties in the capital.

The plans highlight a site in Hounslow which will be developed into 400 homes with details including:

  • 1.48-hectare site [emaillocker id=”71749″]
  • Around 400 new homes
  • Variety of sizes – 1, 2, 3 and 4-bedrooms
  • Mixture of tenures – shared ownership and London Affordable Rent
  • Ideal located close to Hounslow West Underground (Piccadilly Tube Line)

It’s another example of the great work TfL are doing across the capital to bring forward new development – and more details of their London wide schemes will be shared at the TfL Development & Economic Growth Conference next week. Click here for details >

Jonathan Cornelius, Head of Property Development at Transport for London, said: “We’re excited to share our initial proposals to deliver hundreds of new affordable homes in Hounslow, working with A2Dominion. We’re looking forward to engaging with the local community on our plans, which also include a variety of improvements for the local area, including a new public square and gardens and cycle parking. This scheme brings high-quality affordable housing to Hounslow West. It also retains the listed station building and provides new public streets and spaces.

“Hounslow is a very important borough for us, having provided homes in the area for over 70 years we have developed a very strong relationship with the council. Through schemes like this, we expect that relationship to strengthen further in the future.”
