British Property Federation (BPF) and Scottish Property Federation (SPF) have been confirmed as official partners for the inaugural UKREiiF event, which takes place in Leeds on 17 – 19 May 2022

As official partners, the BPF and SPF will be able to share exclusive benefits to their membership which comprises organisations across the real estate sector, including owners, developers, funders, agents and advisors.

The collaborative agreement will also see the BPF and SPF play a lead role in the conference programme, hosting several sessions across the event’s 14-stages and sharing their knowledge, innovation and best practice as key event speakers.

Numerous BPF members have already confirmed their involvement and attendance in the event, including AXA Investment Management, Assura, British Land, Bruntwood, CBRE Investment Management, Ellandi, Harworth, JLL, Knight Frank, Legal and General Investment Management, Lone Star, NewRiver REIT, SEGRO, St Modwen and U+I.

Melanie Leech, Chief Executive, British Property Federation said: “The UK real estate sector is a key partner for Government in its major policy pledges to level up the UK economy and achieve net-zero by 2030. UKREiiF will bring public and private stakeholders together to discuss these critical aims, as well as broader challenges of regeneration and placemaking, and we look forward to working alongside our members to share knowledge and ideas and drive collaboration.”

David Melhuish, Director, Scottish Property Federation, added: “It is great to see such strong Scottish representation at the inaugural UKREiiF event, and we are pleased to be involved in what will be a valuable discussion between public and private sectors.”

Keith Griffiths, Chief Executive Officer of UKREiiF, said: “Both the BPF and SPF are the voice of the industry, recognised by many for the contribution it makes to society and the wider industry. Their primary aims are aligned perfectly with ours – creating a diverse, successful and sustainable real estate industry, whilst driving forward their mission to work collaboratively with national and local government alongside other partners.

“Our partnership will enable their members to share knowledge, innovation and best practice – whilst their expertise is shared on our stages to the 5,000 attendees who’ll be in attendance.”

Led by property events company Built Environment Networking and supported by some of the biggest UK property and infrastructure companies, the first annual UKREiiF event will be held in Leeds on 17-19 May 2022. The forum will attract inward investment, generate economic growth and drive a more sustainable and inclusive culture within the property and construction industries.
