The London Borough of Tower Hamlets has unveiled a massive £6.8bn construction plan to deliver new-build projects over the next 10 years. [emaillocker id=”71749″]

The announcement comes as Tower Hamlets Council – who’re speaking on our Developing Tower Hamlets Webinar about their plans next week – are set to create a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) to manage the work and they’ve kickstarted the procurement as they look to meet contractors to deliver the pipeline. They’re open to receiving requests to be included on the DPS until the 10th August with it set to go live in 2021.

The DPS is split into four lots:

  • £2.9bn to cover the creation of new homes
  • General works
  • Regeneration works
  • Education-related works

Those who secure a spoke on the DPS will also be available for other councils in the capital who sign up to the agreement.
