Feldberg Capital, a real estate investment manager based in Frankfurt, has purchased Brunswick Property Partners (BPP), a UK-based company. The founders of BPP, David Turner and Will Amies, will take on the roles of Head of Investment and Head of Business Development at Feldberg, respectively.

Feldberg’s CEO, Rodney Bysh, believes that the local presence and regional connections of Turner and Amies will aid in expanding the company’s reach. The company plans to undertake sustainable real estate developments across Western Europe, adhering to ESG principles and delivering value to both users and investors.

The acquisition of BPP is seen as a crucial first step in Feldberg’s goal to establish a strong company focused on sustainable real estate developments and investments in Western Europe. The company plans to focus on sustainable investments in various sectors, including workspace, life sciences, logistics, and next-generation residential properties, with a particular emphasis on positive environmental impact and community engagement.

David Turner, the new Head of Investment at Feldberg, sees the acquisition as an opportunity to apply their expertise to a wider geographical area. The company aims to develop into a leading impact-oriented investor in Europe, with the potential to acquire additional European asset managers.

Feldberg’s major shareholder, Turkish ESAS Holding, will provide significant financial support to the company. The deal will also enhance Feldberg’s ESG expertise, enabling the company to develop and implement strategies to transform older, less sustainable properties into modern, energy-efficient ones. This includes the continuation of BPP’s AKOYA venture, which invests in the sustainable refurbishment of workplaces in London neighbourhoods in partnership with a leading sovereign wealth fund.

Will Amies, now Head of Business Development at Feldberg, believes that the transaction positions them strongly in the market, and as part of Feldberg, they will be even better positioned to seize future market opportunities.
