Vistry Group (Vistry) has secured an additional £67m from Homes England to deliver grant funded affordable homes in the period 2021-26.

This brings the total Strategic Partnership affordable housing grants funding to £150m and will enable Vistry to deliver 2,388 affordable homes in partnership with Registered Providers and Local Authorities across England.

A significant proportion of the homes will be built using Vistry’s timber frame manufacturing factories in Leicester, Warrington and Bardon.

Commenting, Greg Fitzgerald Chief Executive at Vistry Group, said: “As one of the country’s largest providers of affordable homes, we are closely aligned with Homes England and share their ambitions for further affordable housing delivery.

“We are already deploying our initial round of Strategic Partnership grant funding of £83m and we have the skills and capacity to increase this further.

“Securing this additional funding will provide greater certainty to our delivery partners, helping to provide more than 2,300 affordable homes.”
