Highways Waterman

Waterman has announced a big project win – as they feature on Southwark Council’s Highways Professionals Services Framework for Lot A Structures.

Running for an initial five years the framework covers the inspection, management and design of structures across the 322km of the Southwark Borough highway network. It plays an important part of Southwark’s strategic aspiration to maintain a thriving, sustainable community with good services and facilities within a short walk or cycle. [emaillocker id=”71749″]

Waterman has a long-standing partnership with the Borough to support economic, environmental and social regeneration. Delivering social value is a key priority and our team will work closely with Southwark to help grow employment, improve education and increase diversity in engineering through this contract.

Waterman’s Technical Director, Richard Brooks, commented: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to work closely with Southwark Council to help manage and improve their highway structures. From our head office in Southwark, we will work with the council to meet its social value objectives and provide opportunities for Southwark residents.”

Waterman’s partnership with Southwark builds upon our expanding portfolio of public sector frameworks including appointments with the London Boroughs of Bexley and Lewisham, Hampshire and Kent County Councils.
