Over £2bn is set to be spent on development across the housing sector in Wales over the next ten years. Welsh Government has recently pledged £1bn for Social Housing development, in addition, a further £72m loan facility for private sector housing developers as they strive to build 7500 new homes per year over the next decade. Allied to that, a further £580m has been allocated for decarbonisation of existing stock as the race to net zero goes on.
