As the UK begins to emerge from lockdown this webinar will focus on the recovery of the leisure and hospitality industries by exploring future multi-million pound projects that will help kickstart the sector’s fightback.

Speakers for this event include:

• PPHE Hotel Group – PPHE have secured funding towards their next hotel development in London for its art’otel brand. The development, which is in one of London’s most exciting neighbourhoods, will include a new 27 storey building to accommodate 343 hotel rooms and suites, five floors of office space, a gym, swimming pool and wellness facilities and an art gallery space. With another art’otel due to be built in Battersea. we will hear from Stuart about how PPHE will form part of the sector’s fightback.

• UK Hospitality – Kate will give us insight into how the hospitality sector is fighting back as we move out of lockdown. The sector is a major contributor to the UK economy, employing 2.9 million people and generating £130bn in economic activity, while paying £38bn in taxation to fund important local and national services. Hospitality is the 3rd largest private sector employer in the UK; double the size of financial services and bigger than automotive, pharmaceuticals and aerospace combined.

• Cycas Hospitality – is a European company based in Amsterdam which is operating in 5 countries. They have developed hotels for Marriot hotels, Intercontinental hotel, Accor hotels and are also involved in hotel management. Cycas are currently developing a hotel in Slough for Marriot which will be completed next year. Asli will tell us more about their plans which include sites they have earmarked for development in West London and the rest of the UK.
