Now that U+I have submitted their plans they expect a decision in mid-2020. Although plans include the demolition the 37 Bowater Road building the new building will replicate the materials an facade “as faithfully as possible.”

Richard Upton, Chief Development Officer who’ll be speaking at our TfL Development & Economic Growth Conference, said: “Faraday Works will celebrate the industrial heritage of the site and deliver on the vision of the masterplan for Charlton Riverside to retain and grow industry and jobs, as well as meet the urgent need for new homes.”

U+I Group are also bringing forward 1,500 homes at other mixed-used projects across as Greenwich – and you can meet them at our Thames Estuary Development Conference >
