• Bad Consult – Architect Hussein is one of the masterminds behind the ‘Akon’ smart city, the $6 billion project in Senegal. The plans for this project are vast, with the first development phase, to be completed in 2023, covering 55 hectares and by the end of this decade, the complex is expected to span 514 acres. Hussein will give us more intel on the progress of the project that could directly and indirectly create around 100,000 jobs.

• McCormick Property Development – The family owner McCormick Property Development are well established in the South African Retail Development sphere, boasting 68 developments completed to date and being the market leader in retail developments in rural townships. Jason will give more intel on their impressive pipeline of over 230,000 sq metres of future retail development across 12 sites in the east of South Africa.

• Gateway Real Estate Africa – Gateway Real Estate Africa are a developer based in Mauritius who are active developing in 11 countries across the continent with commercial, industrial, residential, retail, hospitality, healthcare and education developments. Pumi will join the session to give intel on these schemes and future pipeline whilst also giving thought leadership on the prospects for development, regeneration and economic growth in the region.
