  • MAG East Midlands Airport – with the recently announced Freeport status given to the East Midlands Airport it’s going to be an exciting journey and a game-changer for the regional economy. The 1,300-acre freeport has the potential to add £2bn of GVA to the region, creating 60,000 jobs. We’ll hear how these plans will now progress and the timeframes behind them.
  • Highlands and Islands Airports Limited – owning and operating 11 airports in the Scottish Highlands, Northern Isles and Western Isles, the Scottish Government owned business is at the forefront of the country’s aviation sector. They have ambitious plans across numerous airports including a major expansion at Inverness – and they’re also creating the UK’s first operationally-based low-carbon aviation test centre at Kirkwall Airport which will be the focus of discussion during this event.
  • Gloucestershire Airport – having recently taken up the position of Managing Director, Karen is set to head up some significant development and investment activity at the airport. She’ll be revealing the long-term vision they have for the airport, including the refurbishment of two runways and the delivery of the new CGX Connect Business Park creating 323,000 sq ft of commercial and industrial space – creating over 1,500 job opportunities.
