  • Birmingham City Council – with the population of Birmingham set to soar to 1.24 million by 2030, the need to accelerate the delivery of high quality homes has become a focal point for council regeneration strategy. Sharon joins this webinar to talk about how the local authority are disrupting new ways to develop healthier, smarter communities across the city and encouraging developers to make Birmingham the home of their flagship projects.
  • Cordia Blackswan – Having been acquired by international property group Cordia in 2020, Blackswan are set to unleash a £550m development pipeline in the West Midlands. Initial projects include the Lampworks, Gilders Yard and Hockley Mills with many more due to follow. Marcus joins the event to share their vision for the region and deliver an insight into their approach to development.
  • Woods Hardwick – Paul Woods is a Planning Director at Woods Hardwick with responsibility for leading the Birmingham Planning Team from the Company’s Birmingham office in Fort Dunlop.  He has over 30 years’ experience of town planning gained in both the public and private sectors. As a consultant in the private sector, Paul has been involved in a wide range of planning and development schemes including large scale infrastructure projects, town centre redevelopment schemes, commercial and residential schemes and conservation and listed building projects.
  • Galliard Homes – As a part of the new £165 million Soho Wharf scheme in Ladywood, Birmingham, Galliard Homes are working in partnership with Apsley House Capital to deliver more than 750 new houses and apartments across a series of buildings reaching 14 storeys. The housing developers are also behind residential schemes at the Timber Yard in Southside and St Paul’s Quarter. The former is first development in Birmingham, featuring 379 units ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments and the latter forms a part of the new £125 million regeneration project in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.
