WEBINAR: Future Development Plans – Bristol & South West

Thursday, 7th May 2020 1000hrs – 1100hrs

Online Webinar,

Over the coming months we’ll be hosting a series of webinars – helping to keep the industry moving and talking during a period of uncertainty, enabling people to talk and build relationships whilst helping to maintain industry confidence and demonstrating thought leadership.

This webinar will focus on the development activity in Bristol and the wider city region, whilst also addressing some of the key issues and challenges which we as an industry face in the coming months. Speakers will be invited to share details on their current development programme and future pipelines as well as providing advice and opinion on what the industry needs to do to survive the current crisis, what is requires in the short term and how we will manage the increased demand and activity once the UK recovers.

This event will run in a similar manner to all of our physical events – with short presentations from several key speakers and opportunities for live Q&A and interaction.

Speakers for the event include:

Duncan Cumberland,
Development Director (Residential)
Scott Hammond Eutopia Homes Scott Hammond,
Chief Executive
Lucinda Mitchell,
Project Director
David Carter,
Head of Infrastructure
  • Muse Developments – one of the UK’s biggest and innovative developers, Duncan oversees five major projects in Bristol and Plymouth including Wapping Wharf and Quadrant Wharf.
  • Eutopia Homes – have £220m worth of development projects in the pipeline across the South West and Scott will be talking about their delivery timeline and the enormous economic growth implications in their locality.
  • First Base – with a brand new announcement of a £175m Soapworks scheme in Bristol city, Lucinda will give in depth intel on their proposals and the fantastic regenerative impact it could have, should their plans be approved. Our delegates will get hot-off-the-press news of opportunities presented by this major project.
  • West of England Combined Authority – devolution has gifted the West of England with almost £1bn over the coming years to drive growth across the region and infrastructure will play a crucial role. We’ll delve into what the 2036 Transport Plan means for development as they look to bring forward new homes, employment sites and digital connectivity also sits high on the agenda.
