Her previous experience includes Head of New Business at the region’s inward investment agency, Business Development Director of ERBI, Manager of the East of England Stem Cell Network and founder of the UK’s BioPharmaMarket web portal. Jeanette is responsible for devising and implementing marketing strategies to attract pharmaceutical companies such as AstraZeneca as well as biotech and medtech companies to the Campus. Rob Hall, Deputy Managing Director; Hill Residential Rob is a Chartered Surveyor with a wide range of experience in the property industry gained over the last 25 years. Working on a wide variety of projects in the consultancy and housebuilding sector, and with a background in Agency and Development, he has worked extensively in London and the Eastern Region, being previously with both Bidwells and Carter Jonas. Since joining Hill, 10 years ago, Rob has led the delivery of new private sale developments, coordinating the company’s acquisition and joint venture programme, with responsibility for ensuring the groups pipeline of projects. He has considerable experience of land acquisition and setting up and delivering joint venture projects, as well as sales and marketing. As a leading housebuilder, Hill has developed a reputation for delivering distinctive quality homes, often in partnership with Housing Associations and the private sector. Rob recognises the need for businesses to work in an open transparent manner to ensure all parties’ interests are met. Hill is well known in the Cambridge market for its award winning schemes at Ceres, cb1 and The Avenue at Saffron Walden and is launching a variety of projects during 2015. The firm was named medium Housebuilder of the Year in 2014 by Housebuilder Awards. Stephen Kelly, Joint Director of Planning & Economic Development; Cambridge City Council Jonny Anstead, Director; TOWN Jonny began his career at Locum Consulting (later Colliers CRE), where he worked on regional tourism, regeneration and economic development strategies and city master planning projects. Joining Beyond Green in 2005, he was instrumental in the company’s transition from sustainability consultant to sustainable developer and led the land acquisition, funding and early stage planning phases for a number of major strategic land opportunities. Jonny holds a first-class degree from Cambridge University and is a professional member of the Prince’s Foundation for Building Community. Charles Walker, Director; Legal & General Investment Management Charles Walker is Director of Business Development at LGP. Charles joined the Board of LGP in 2011 to oversee the creation of new funds, joint ventures and client solutions. Charles is also responsible for the client relationship and marketing teams and is a member of the LGP Investment Committee. Charles joined LGP in 2000 from private practice where he specialised in investment agency and fund management on behalf of charities and family trusts. During his career with LGP, he has been the Fund Manager of the Pooled Pension fund and a segregated pension fund. He remains Fund Manager of the close ended UK Property Income Fund. Charles holds an honours degree in Land Management from Reading University and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and Investment Property Forum.
