DAVID LEWIS is one of the most experienced retail development specialists in the UK. With his career spanning more than 20 years, he spent 14 years as an influential member of the Centros team, where he became a board director in 2009. Career highlights include:

Amongst others, development managed the successful delivery of two BCSC Gold Award winning shopping schemes: Weavers Wharf, Kidderminster (anchored by M&S and Next) and ARC, Bury St Edmunds (anchored by Debenhams)

Asset managed Houndshill Shopping Centre, Blackpool on behalf of the administrators and the bank, resolving numerous post-construction issues, letting void units, and improving cashflow quality before managing the successful asset sale in 2010

Delivered over 125 residential units as part of mixed-use schemes in Epsom and Bury St Edmunds

Sat on the BCSC Advisory Board from 2006 to 2012 and was the founding chair of the New Generation Committee

More recently, David Lewis has been appointed as a member of the BCSC Gold Awards’ jury.
