The Department for International Trade – Driving Inward Investment

Tuesday, 6th October 2020 1345hrs – 1500hrs

The Department for International Trade plays a significant role in supporting the property and development industry in terms of investment, funding and strategic partnerships. They work with stakeholders across the UK developing a pipeline of investment opportunities for overseas investors. As we work through the implications of Covid 19 it is clear that the desire to invest in the UK remains high and DIT are continuing to attract global investment interest and funding for major UK development projects.

Naisha Polaine, their Senior Advisor in the large capital projects team is keen to engage with developers and project promoters who have a project or pipeline of projects that require investment funding.

On this webinar DIT will be joined by Ono Odudu, Technical Director at BCEGI – the Chinese State owned Beijing Construction Engineering Group –  investing in the UK now and working with DIT and Aldred Drummond, CEO of Fawley Waterside Ltd, Hampshire, currently working with the Capital Investment Team at DIT.

Together, they will articulate the process of inward investment and how UK developers can work with DIT to engage with global capital who have funds available.

The DIT is keen to talk to UK developers with schemes and portfolios valued in excess of £100m therefore if you or your business associates would like to hear how these funds could be made available for your schemes then this webinar should be viewed.
