Healthcare Estates Development Conference | Event

NHS TRUST ATTENDEES INCLUDE:

EVENT OVERVIEW

The Next Steps on the NHS Five Year Forward View (5YFV) report issued a few months ago, makes several requests of Estates, Infrastructure, Capital, and Clinical Support Services, including the need to achieve over £100 million in savings in 2017/18 and to dispose of £2bn of surplus assets. The Naylor Report also made several recommendations to encourage and incentivise Trusts to support transformation in the NHS, including the requirement for Trusts to develop affordable estates and infrastructure plans, with an associated capital strategy, to deliver the 5YFV and address the issue of backlog maintenance.

The Healthcare Estates Development Conference will showcase Best Practice in the Estates and Facilities environment, and help NHS Organisations to:

  • Reduce capital costs.
  • Reduce operating costs including energy.
  • Acquire alternative sources of funding.
  • Attract scarce resources and become a client of choice.
  • Design an effective and efficient clinical support provision.
  • Dispose of surplus stock at the maximum return to the Trust.
  • Deal with backlog maintenance.
  • Embrace current and future technological advances, and
  • Engage with the leading suppliers in the sector.

SPEAKERS & PROGRAMME

The Healthcare Estates Development Forum will hear keynotes from the sectors leading names before panel discussions take place to focus on the key areas and topics within Healthcare Estates, Property and Facilities. Those panel discussions will focus on the next steps of the NHS Five Year Forward View, Energy & Sustainable in Healthcare, Protech and Best Practice in Healthcare. The best practice will also spill into several best practice presentations from market leaders in several industries to hear about how estates can do business, better. There will be several large NHS Trusts at the conference.
