Campbell’s role oversees the management of our business space portfolio and promotes new commercial development on our existing estate, including R-evolution @ the AMP – Yorkshire’s first speculative build development for more than 6 years Martin Farrington, Director of City Development; Leeds City Council Martin is responsible for property, highways including potholes and street lighting, libraries, museums, galleries and stately homes, sports and leisure centres, business support, markets, regeneration work, jobs and skills and cultural events such as Party in the Park and Opera in the Park. He is responsible for the management of the city’s major developments such as the Leeds Arena and the transformation of the central shopping area. James Hepburn, Development Manager; Hammerson James manages the day to day delivery of the Victoria Gate scheme in Leeds city centre, this includes its integration into the Victoria Quarter and bringing forward phase two which is north of Eastgate. Victoria, Leeds is made up of some 11 acres of land with the £170m phase one on site and completion due autumn 2016. The scheme will deliver the largest John Lewis store outside of London and a modern take on Victorian Arcades to home some 30 plus retail/restaurant tenants.
