This online conference will focus on frameworks and routes of procurement – discussing new frameworks, frameworks up for renewal and best practice.

HS2 Ltd – Nicky Wright, Supply Chain Manager

HS2 is accelerating ahead with the next phases of their giant infrastructure project, inviting the supply chain to bid on billions of pounds worth of HS2 contracts which will create an estimated 400,000 supply chain opportunities over the next few years. Oxfordshire County Council – Liz Clutterbrook, Service Delivery Lead

With the Oxford Cambridge Arc project set to create over 1m new jobs with 1m new homes across the arc there is set to be a plethora of development and investment opportunities which come forward and the County Council will be playing a crucial role in maximising the opportunities for the region. This growth will see the Council intensify their collaboration with framework providers as they procure work for major infrastructure schemes, unlocking land and expanding of services, and Liz will be well positioned to discuss how they’re tackling this expected growth.

Eastern Procurement – Steve Tyree, Managing Director

Eastern Procurement Ltd boasts over 30 of the East of England’s top councils and housing associations as their members including Norwich City Council, South Cambridgeshire District Council, Southend Borough Council, Places for People and the Longhurst Group. With multi million pound contracts to be won, we’ll find out more about their approach to procurement and how to win work through their service.

Rise Construction Framework – Sara Lawton, Director

Combining construction projects with social investment, Rise oversee a number of high value healthcare, education and local authority related frameworks in the North West. With a brand-new frameworks set to be launched in 2023, Sara joins the event to deliver details to the supply chain and talk about wider community impact of their procurement processes. She will also touch on the amazing work she leads via Thrive- a not for profit organisation giving property industry opportunities to young people.

PAGABO – Simon Toplass, Chief Executive

Pagabo is leading the way in the sector with innovative new frameworks and their approach to development focusing heavily on social value, mental health and wellbeing. Their ideology isn’t being overlooked as they continue to see major growth with new and existing clients across the UK, with an ever growing list of projects in the portfolio and a team growing at an exponential rate. Willmott Dixon – Leanne Day, National Framework Manager

Willmott Dixon are one the UK’s foremost construction contractors appearing on some of the largest frameworks and procurement programmes within the UK. Leanne will be adding her expertise to the panel – discussing challenges in procurement in the sector from the viewpoint of a national construction contractor with knowledge in numerous regions and sectors.

ISG – Philippa Lean, Framework Manager

Philippa occupies a national role at ISG – focussing on developing customer relationships and frameworks for ISG. Her experience in collaborative working be incredibly important on the session she’ll be involved in – discussing the future of frameworks from the mindset of a contractor.

Procure 22 – Cliff Jones, Programme Manager

The NHS has gone through one of its most challenging times reacting to the COVID crisis – which has led to the construction of Nightingale Hospitals throughout the UK in record time. Cliff will join the session to discuss the challenges of procuring for the NHS during a the pandemic and look ahead to future opportunities in the NHS for the construction sector, including the delayed P2020 framework.
