A little about FCM – Established since 1986, FCM have been providing Clerk of Works Services to Private, Public and Government Sectors. All our Clerk of Works are either Members of the Institute Of Clerk of Works and Construction Inspectors, MICWCI or are qualified in the own specialist field (i.e. Mechanical & Electrical Chartered Engineers, City & Guilds, Structural Engineers etc). As Clerk of works we oversee the quality and safety of work on a construction site, making sure that building plans and specifications are followed correctly, and that health and safety rules are followed. FCM Clerk of Works compile and maintain financial and technical project records during the construction period. This means that on completion of the project, should there be any discrepancies between the parties regarding disputed issues, an accurate history relating to the issues can be forwarded to the arbitrator. Appointed to look after a client’s interest in a building project, FCMs Clerk of Works develop a culture of good relationships with the Contractor and their team from the outset.

Dominic Macer, Investment Director; Victoria Hall Management 

Dominic has specialised in the residential accommodation sector for the whole of his 20yr career. Starting his career in Prime Central London investment and development roles, he joined ING Real Estate Investment Management in the early 2000’s to help run their UK Residential fund. It was here he had his first introduction to student housing, helping acquire and manage 3 PBSA halls for the fund. Having gone on to spend time working for himself and two other institutional PRS funds since then, Dominic joined VHML in 2015 as Investment Director to help shape this new phase in their evolution.
