Future Development Plans – Northern Ireland

This event will focus on future development plans and regeneration opportunities across Northern Ireland.

With Brexit looming large and an uncertain marketplace due to Covid-19 you could be surprised to see the positivity surrounding the real estate and property industry within Northern Ireland.

A number of local authorities are bringing forward exciting masterplans which will act as catalysts for growth, whilst large infrastructure investments have been announced which will unlock new sites across the country. In this webinar we’ll be hearing from some of those at the forefront of these exciting and ambitious projects.

This event will run in a similar manner to all of our physical events – with short presentations from several key speakers and opportunities for live Q&A and interaction.

  • Mid and East Antrim Council – have two regeneration programmes underway at both Ballymena and Carrickfergus which Frank will be able to share an update on. He will also cover the next projects as they look to bring forward new development plans to drive economic growth across the region.
  • Invest NI – as Business Development Director at Invest NI, Amy will be able to share insight into smart cities companies and case studies in Northern Ireland, alongside inward investment currently ongoing throughout the region in relation to retaining talent, the cost of talent and available funding.
  • Belfast City Council – with millions of pounds being invested into the regeneration of Belfast, the city council have been a real agent for change. Cathy will share insight into the £500m development in the Cathedral Quarter, the £60m development at Smithfield Market and other initiatives in the pipeline.
