Following on from the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Economic Growth Conference in December we are set to take a look at Peterborough and the western parameters in Cambridgeshire with Simon Machen, Director of Growth & Regeneration for Peterborough City Council, will outline the City’s plans for development over the next few years. Simon will be joined by at least two local developers who will present their current schemes and discuss how these schemes will be procured using local companies.
Godwin Developments are also very much in growth mode and Stephen Pratt, one of the founders of the business, will explain why they are soon opening an office in Cambridgeshire and why they are targeting the region with their recently completed scheme in Brampton Hut and the new project for waterside apartments at Hampton Vale in the pipeline.
We’ll be hearing from Roger Tallowin, General Manager at O&H Properties, who’ll be discussing their developments in the region. Their major development at Great Haddon sees them collaborate with developers Barratt Homes and Marlborough Oasis on a site which will deliver 5,300 homes, 9,000 jobs, 4 new schools, 3 shopping centres and much more! They’ve just secured government funding for the infrastructure and will now be starting to develop designs and plans to get the work underway.
We’re waiting to hear from other speakers with the Greater Cambridgeshire and Peterborough LEP set to confirm soon; details will be published shortly.
