Berkshire & Thames Valley Development Plans

We’re back in Reading for our annual visit where we’ll once again be bringing the construction and property industry together with well over 150 senior professionals set to attend. The key influencers from Berkshire and Thames Valley’s biggest companies will descend on Reading Town Hall to network and make new commercially-rewarding relationships before we hear from some exceptional speakers, with some of the topics set to be discussed including….

• The £750m redevelopment of Station Hill in Reading – which will become an amazing new gateway. It will include 5 high-rise buildings over 6.5 acres with a mix of residential and office space
• An insight into the development activity planned by Windsor and Maidenhead Council’s Property Company arm – who’re looking to drive economic growth through development and regeneration with 5,000 homes in the pipeline
• Highways England will share intel on their road investment strategy, the planned Smart Motorway roll-out on the M4 and how their schemes will unlock economic growth and development opportunities
• Fresh insight into Network Rail Property’s ongoing projects including estate disposals, station masterplans, their £30m Newbury scheme, an upgrade to Oxford station and an update on Temples Mead Station all along the Thames Valley route.
• The most up-to-date projects across Slough – being driven by the JV Urban Renewal company. Stoke Wharf is one of their next schemes, a residential led development reinvigorating three parcels of land

A critical mass of development in and around London is offering further opportunities for Thames Valley and Berkshire – with thousands of new homes, major development sites and large employment zones set to be unlocked.
