Stoford Developments – Anthony Nash, Director

Stoford have recently announced further significant development plans at two sites: the first unit to be built at their £200 million Redditch Gateway logistics scheme and two additional units measuring 83,000 sq ft and 28,500 sq ft at their Exeter Logistics Park. Anthony will be on hand to go into more detail about these schemes and their future pipeline of developments throughout the UK.

 

 

HBD – Vivienne Clements, Director

HBD are expert in industrial and logistics development and have completed projects right across the company. They have recently announced several schemes in the sector including a 75,000 sq ft development in Preston and 70,000 sq ft of industrial space in Southend and with some major projects in the North of England. Vivienne will share further details on these schemes as well as setting out their sheds & logistics plans for the coming 12 months.

Wrenbridge are a leading logistics developer active in London, the South East and East Anglia with over £903 million in active projects. They have several current and upcoming logistics projects including a £40 million scheme in Dartford which is currently going through planning, an 80,000 sq ft Bedford project which was recently granted planning and a 128,000 sq ft scheme about to begin in Waltham Cross. Jeff will also share some thought leadership on the innovative logistics/retail nature of some of their developments.

Firethorn Trust – Peter Mather, Partner

Firethorn Trust is a dedicated real estate investor and developer, delivering midbox logistics warehousing spaces across the UK to enable businesses to connect quickly and easily with their customers.  Based in London, Firethorn is focused on investing substantial capital and resources in new business ventures in the UK logistics sector and developing best-in-class real estate investments.

Peter is an executive board director at Firethorn. Involved in strategic direction and decision-making, Peter is responsible for sourcing and executing new real estate investment and development opportunities across the UK.

Trebor Developments – Bob Tattrie, Managing Partner

Trebor are active across the UK delivering high quality industrial development for major blue chip clients such as Amazon, DHL and DPD amongst others. Trebor are particularly active across Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and the West Midlands and Bob will be on hand to discuss their pipeline across the UK which totals nearly 150 acres of development.

Diamond Logistics – Kate Lester, Chief Executive

Diamond Logistics are a fast growing logistics platform incorporating fulfilment, sameday and overnight services from their 20 locations across the UK. They are passionate about shared success and work in mutually beneficial partnerships with thousands of businesses, especially SMEs to help them succeed and expand. Unlike many other major logistics players, they are focused strongly on innovation and technology to streamline their offering and enhance the service they offer. Kate will discuss how this approach will become increasingly important across an expanding and changing sector.

University of Hull – Professor Amar Ramudhin, Director, The Logistics Institute

Professor Ramudhin is a supply chain and logistics expert with over 30 years of experience as an educator, researcher and executive. He has vast experience in the sector: the design of sustainable supply chains, integrated logistics corridors and hubs, the use of new business models and technology and the inclusion of big data in the sector. He has managed over £15M of projects and currently holds several Innovate UK and EU awards.

 

DAC Beachcroft – Sally Morris-Smith, Partner

Sally is a UK logistics sector expert who has made a name for herself by being one of the eminent voices on how the Covid-19 crisis is going to transform the sector. She joins this session to share her thoughts on how developments can help de-risk vulnerable supply chains and how reshoring capacity to home markets is likely to become a key issue in 2021. DAC work with clients from across the Sheds and Logistics sector and he knowledge will be invaluable to a wide ranging discussion.

Carter Jonas – Jon Silversides, Partner, Commercial

Carter Jonas are one of the UK’s foremost experts in industrial property, specialising in premises of all sizes and uses. Jon will provide some thought leadership on their work, including some of the large development  sites they are working on.

JF Finnegan are a prominent Yorkshire based D&B Contractor with extensive experience delivering industrial and logistics warehouses ranging in size from 10,000 sq ft to 500,000 sq ft.

Dawa has worked for J F Finnegan Limited for nearly 25 years and has over 30 years’ experience in the development and construction sector after completing a Post-Graduate Programme in Construction Management, Planning, Quantity Surveying and Design and Build Management.

On behalf of J F Finnegan Dawa has been involved in numerous major successful construction projects though-out the UK from varying sectors, for tier one developers and end-users .

Feasibility – Dan Holford, Director

Having successfully delivered several million sq ft of new space, primarily in the logistics and industrial real estate sector, Dan will bring an expert view to the event sharing details on the current sector challenges, opportunities and future vision.
