WEBINAR: Infrastructure – Unlocking the UK’s Economic Future

Friday, 29th May 2020 1000hrs – 1100hrs

Over the coming months we’ll be hosting a series of webinars – helping to keep the industry moving and talking during a period of uncertainty, enabling people to talk and build relationships whilst helping to maintain industry confidence and demonstrating thought leadership.

In this webinar we’ll focus on physical infrastructure and the major development works set to happen over coming years.

The Government has committed to unprecedented spend on developing the UK’s infrastructure unlocking new economic corridors across the UK and providing much needed connectivity for so many of the UK’s regions but how do we measure the impact on the UK’s economy?  We will hear from some of the leading UK’s infrastructure providers as to how their model works and the return that they can see on their investment and we will also hear from those that will benefit from the investment ie: Councils and developers whose schemes become viable once this new network is in place.

This event will run in a similar manner to all of our physical events – with short presentations from several key speakers and opportunities for live Q&A and interaction.

Speakers for this event include:

Paul McKeown,
Investment Director
Andy Rumfitt,
Senior Director
Catherine Topley,
Chief Executive Officer
Adam Simmons,
Director of Future Road Investment Strategies
  • Network Rail – Paul will represent Network Rail at this webinar and is responsible for investment in the Eastern region. He will talk about their current schemes and where they plan to invest in the future and their rationale behind future schemes unlocking economic growth.
