Future Development Plans – Worcestershire

This online event will focus on driving investment, regeneration and development in Worcestershire.

Situated in the West Midlands, Worcestershire is in a prime location to strategically benefit from the vast upcoming development opportunities and investment programmes available – from the arrival of HS2 and focus on infrastructure connecting the wider region, to the ever-growing desire for firms and people to settle in the region due to the continued growth of cities like Birmingham.

  • Worcester City Council – as Corporate Director of Place, Andrew will be able to share insight into the upcoming development and regeneration plans for Worcester Council, alongside how the plans will benefit the region.
  • Godwin Developments – with the recently announced £85m Lowesmoor Wharf development project on the horizon, Matt joins this session to go into intricate detail of the scheme including the lasting positive economic and regenerative impact it will have on the city of Worcester and the delivery timeline and partnership opportunities related to it.
  • Worcestershire LEP – have multiple upcoming and ongoing projects including the Worcestershire Growth Deal and the Worcestershire Energy Strategy, which will have massive impacts on the county. Alison will be able to share insight into these projects and more, alongside other projects in the pipeline.
