Proposals have been submitted to South Kesteven District Council which could see a business and leisure hub built – with a boost to local job numbers. The development, set to be built in Grantham, would see the development of a new business park, filing station and a coffee drive-thru.

South Kesteven District Council, who are set to speak at our Lincolnshire Development Plans Conference, will now review the proposals lodged by Mill Hill Developments for the 4.7-acre mixed-use site. The development includes:

  • Café & Restaurant Space
  • Office Units
  • Filing Station
  • Coffee Drive Thru
  • Builders Merchant
  • Parking
  • Engineering Dispatch Building

The site has strong connectivity and infrastructure, with the proposed area just off the junction at Harlaxton Road and Trent Road in Grantham. A spokesperson for Mill Hill Developments said: ”The site has a long-standing allocation for employment development purposes, but has now become truly available for comprehensive development. Direct employment from the development is estimated to be 75 full time equivalent jobs, of which 37 equivalent jobs are estimated to be new jobs created for the economy. Additionally, construction is estimated to result in an additional 10 full time equivalent jobs during the development.”

It’s another development in Grantham which is sparking investment and development in the South Kesteven District Council region, and we’re excited to hear more about the future development plans in the area at the Lincolnshire Development Plans Conference.
