Watch This Space launches new creative office

Posted on: April 20th, 2018

An impressive new boutique office scheme called ‘This is the Space’ has been launched in Manchester. The project, developed by Watch This Space who’ll be speaking at our Greater Manchester Development Plans Conference next month, was acquired for more than £1m last year from St James’ Chambers and is one of a row of Georgian style townhouses.

Located on Quay Street it’s in a prime location within Manchester – close to the financial district of Spinningfields. The property, which covers almost 5,000 sq ft, has been redeveloped into facilities which offer individual pods for solo workers to self-contained offices able to accommodate up to 12 people – all within a unique and creative environment.

Watch This Space are now set to showcase work from local artists within the building following the completing of the nine-month refurbishment. The ground floor is incredible impressive – modelled on a miniature urban park which inspire creative thoughts and new thinking – with plants and greenery also visible.

Michelle Rothwell, Founder of Watch This Space and speaker at the Greater Manchester Development Plans Conference, said: ”This is The Space really challenges traditional working environments and is designed to stimulate employees. We’ve given occupiers here the option to personalise their work space and make it really feel that it’s their home and be in greater control. We’re also able to rent space for as little as seven days, which gives occupiers greater flexibility. In addition, each boutique office features its own unique design with all of them having different flooring and light fittings as an example. It’s a scheme we’re really proud of and we’re excited to have now launched to the market.”

We’re excited to hear about the innovative ideas Watch This Space are bringing to the market and what future plans they have – and how you can get involved – at the Manchester event next month.
