A new framework is being launched by Scottish Procurement Alliance (SPA), Consortium Procurement Construction and LHC which will cover the development of new build housing.

The H2 framework, replacing the current Scottish Procurement Alliance H1 framework, will extend outside of Scotland – with a focus on other areas in England.

Further information will be shared about the framework at the Scotland Construction Frameworks & Procurement Conference in March.

The framework lots include:

  • New build housing from low rise up to 11m to top floor height
  • High rise developments with floor heights above 11m
  • Care homes
  • Refurbishment, conversions, extensions and adaptions
  • Groundworks and preparation for new build sites
  • Major infrastructure

Mij Rahman, Director of Procurement at LHC, said: “This new framework will build on the success of the outgoing H1 framework. There is a growing demand for frameworks that deliver solutions which will meet the ongoing housing challenge within the public sector, while prioritising the importance of the wider societal benefits that can be achieved through placemaking that support social, human, environmental and production value.”
