The planned extension of their terminal building will transform the current building and provide a higher level of service and amenities to those passing through the airport. Details of the planned development, which will be a feature of the West Yorkshire Economic Growth Conference where Leeds Bradford Airport are set to speak, include: Three-storey extension. Transformation of arrivals process – including immigration, customs and baggage. New and larger departure gates. Additional seating areas. New food and beverage outlets. The new building is set to be completed by winter 2019 – before phase two then begins to integral the building into the existing building to enhance check-in facilities, offer a better customer journey, and more.
