A huge regeneration is set to transform the Wirral – in a project that will deliver new homes, commercial space, retail and leisure developments and boost the regional economy via new jobs and boosted property values. The plans, which are set to make the Wirral an attractive investment zone, will be delivered over a 10-year period through a joint-venture (JV) between Muse Developments and the Wirral Growth Company (WGC).

Muse Developments, who specialise in working with landowners and the public sector to bring about sustainable regeneration and urban renewal through the deliver of mixed-use projects, are one of those who’ll be speaking at the Tees Valley Development Plans Conference with national projects happening at this exciting moment for the company.

As soon as formal approval is confirmed the project will start through consultation and engagement with those in the area including residents and local businesses with the aim of driving regeneration to sites in Bebington, Birkenhead, Bromborough, Moreton and Seacombe. The council is also keen to regenerate New Ferry following the devastating gas explosion which happened a year ago.

The proposal is set to go in front of cabinet members for initial feedback – and that will include proposals to split profits 50/50 with the authority’s shared fed straight back into the system with a focus on front-line services.

It’s certainly an exciting time for the Wirral.
