Nottingham – Plans submitted for 703-bed student scheme by Cassidy Group Posted on: September 18th, 2019 New plans have been submitted by Cassidy Group for its massive student scheme on Deakins Place Road, Nottingham near the University of Nottingham’s Jubilee Campus. [emaillocker id=”71749″] Cassidy Group wants to build a 703-bed on the site of a plumbers merchants. This development will have a mixture of cluster bedrooms and studios. It will also offer students breakout study areas, cinema, gym, open plan living space and a cycle store. The firm says it wants to complete the Deakins Place development in time for the August 2021 academic year. Cassidy also has other developments taking place in Nottingham as we speak – they are currently building a 217-bed student scheme in Beeston, whilst recently receiving planning permission for the nearby 150-unit Chainey Place.
