Cheshire & Warrington LEP Secures £30m of Funding

Cheshire and Warrington LEP have secured a total of £30m in form of a loan – as Cheshire East Council, Cheshire West & Chester Council and Warrington Borough Council commit to helping them fund their ambitious growth plans.

The funding will enable the LEP to provide grants to developments within the Cheshire Science Corridor Enterprise Zone – a site which covers over 100-hectares and has the potential to bring 20,000 jobs to the area. [emaillocker id=”71749″]

The investments will “stimulate and accelerate economic growth” – as the LEP look to significantly enhance the profile of the area and attract business through incentives and the ability to retain and reinvest new business rate revenue.
