This webinar will focus on the development activity in Brent as the council look to drive investment, regeneration and inclusive growth.

The London Borough of Brent is set to see huge change in the coming years; with the council focusing on developing thousands of new council homes and creating inclusive communities. There are also numerous other major regeneration and development projects to come forward – these will be the topic of conversation on this webinar.

We’ll be hearing more about the major development activity taking place in the borough, as well as updates on ongoing regenerations schemes like the South Kilburn and the Wembley Park regenerations. The council will outline their ambitious vision and several key developers will share intel on how they’ll be playing their part.

Speakers for this event include:

  • Brent Council – Brent is undergoing major transformation, with large regeneration and development projects proposed. Alice will give more details on the progress of the South Kilburn regeneration, the council’s ambitious plans to build 1,000 new council homes a year for the next 5 years and their recent acquisitions of tower blocks in the borough. Alice will also reveal how firms can get involved with these schemes.
  • Network Homes – have huge plans to build 5,000 new homes over the next five years in different boroughs of London and in Hertfordshire. In this session, Helen will give more intel on their plans for the London Borough of Brent including their 1,600-unit placemaking scheme at Northwick Park and how to get involved in their schemes.
  • Quintain – are pressing ahead with the next stages of their Wembley Park development which will see thousands of additional BTR homes built around the stadium. Fareen will update us on their progress towards their ambitious vision for 2028, delivering 8,000 homes with one third of it affordable housing and around 1m sq ft of office space.
  • HUB – hot of the press from signing a £100m Wembley Link deal to deliver a two phase 500 home project, Damien joins the panel to talk about his organisation’s continued commitment to the borough. Their site is key to the ongoing development of Wembley housing zone and the area is strategically important in linking new developments in the town centre and those emerging in Wembley Park.
  • Pitman Tozer Architects – Pitman Tozer are currently helping clients to deliver more than 800 homes across the capital, from Barking and Dagenham, Newham and Tower Hamlets in the East to Southwark and Croydon in the South. Luke will talk about their housing led regeneration projects and how intelligent design can marry the technical challenges of climate change and fire safety and create enduring places for residents and public alike. Luke will also talk about joining Network Homes new architects framework.
