Event Information:

This webinar will focus on the development activity in Croydon.

Croydon is the location of a major £5.25bn regeneration programme, intended to create a thriving economic heartland and a gateway between London and the south coast. With 17 major projects in the pipeline and a further 18 going through the planning process it clearly outlines that the borough is open for business. On this webinar, you will hear from the main players behind the development aspirations and from those who will be delivering different schemes across the region.

Speakers for this event include:

  • London Borough of Croydon – as one of the architects of an exciting place-creation strategy at one of London’s most ambitious Councils, Carol is spearheading the transformation of Croydon which will eventually total £5.25bn worth of regeneration. On this session she will talk about their future projects and detail the inclusive economic growth benefits that are already been seen across the locality.
  • London Square – are responsible for the forthcoming £90m St Michaels Square development which will be the catalyst for unleashing further major regeneration projects in West Croydon. With several other high profile schemes in the pipeline across the South East, Mark has been noted for his excellent partnership working with various local authorities and he will be on hand to share further details of their plans while talking about what makes Croydon an excellent place to develop.
  • Schroders – are a major player on the development scene in Croydon with several major schemes either underway or in the pipeline. Projects totalling £500m are on the books and these mainly centre around the 500,000 sq ft Ruskin Square scheme which are at outline planning stages and expect to be progressed later in 2020. As part of this session Jessica will talk in depth about the development as well as what might be happening with the other land they own in the Borough.
