Impact Capital Real Estate have some significant plans in the pipeline in the East of England – two mixed use developments one which includes 620 new homes and another on an 8 acre site which will include a high number of new homes. Impact have also acquired a modular housing firm whose factory is based in Peterborough.

 

South Cambridgeshire District Council – Bridget Smith, Leader

South Cambridgeshire Council along with Cambridge City Council have launched an initiative to use sustainable design and construction methods in their future developments. Cllr Bridget Smith will give us more details on the initiative as well as giving insight into the thousands of homes to be built in South Cambridgeshire over the coming years.

 

Taylor Wimpey – Hayden Dolby, Managing Director

Taylor Wimpey have secured development land in Suffolk which has plans for 288+ new homes to be built and will also benefit from 29 acres of open space. Hayden will reveal more about this scheme and Taylor Wimpey’s plans for Anglia and the East of England.

 

Sizewell C / EDF Energy – Joseph Rippon, Financing Programme Manager

EDF are wanting to develop Sizewell C, a new nuclear power station which will provide around 7% of the UK’s electricity; enough for around six million homes. Josepg will reveal more details about this major project which will bring a massive boost to the economy of the East of England and lead to transformational plans for nearby towns.
