Future Development Plans – Edinburgh

This online event will focus on development, regeneration and investment opportunities across Edinburgh and the wider region.

This event, brought to you alongside The City of Edinburgh Council, will delve into the development and investment opportunities and ongoing projects that are driving economic growth across the city region.

The region has been enduring a real period of growth – as exciting large scale developments move forward in the city centre and sustainable development schemes are brought forward in more rural Edinburgh. The key stakeholders behind these ongoing and future plans will be joining us for this event to reveal the latest information and intel, whilst sharing details on how businesses can get involved.

This event will run in a similar manner to all of our physical events – with short presentations from several key speakers and opportunities for live Q&A and interaction.

  • The City of Edinburgh Council – will showcase the development and investment opportunities in the city for 2021 and beyond. They’ll highlight schemes that are coming to light, the impact of Covid on ongoing projects, and their plans for growth with a focus on being green, inclusive but also ambitious.
  • Ediston Real Estate – Ross is leading on the largest brownfield city centre development in Edinburgh for many years- a £250m, 500,000 sq ft mixed use project featuring hundreds of new build to rent homes, office buildings and wellbeing space. With ambitions to have supply chain in place for a Q3 2021 start date, he joins this session to detail their plans and how they will unlock further regeneration and investment into the city.
