Countryside Properties – Mike Woolliscroft, Regional Managing Director Mike is the Managing Director for London, and has been with the firm since 2014 – and the regional department has growth massively since his arrival at Countryside Properties. They’re now working on over 5 large multi-phase projects within more than ten live sites currently under development. The business is growing and they’re behind some of the most ambitious schemes across the UK. He’ll be sharing details of their ongoing and future development projects, the timeframes and phases behind them, exclusive intel into the procurement process and more. @CountrysideProp City and Docklands – Gary Sacks, Chairman and CEO Gary is Founder and Managing Director of The City and Docklands Group. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree and has been active in the property industry for the past two decades. After moving to the UK in 1986, he started a furniture company, supplying furniture to the property industry and subsequently transitioned the business into residential development. The company has strategic investments in ancillary property management businesses, giving Gary a very good insight into the residential market trends. Gary is a Trustee of various charities including Norwood and Grief Encounter. London Borough of Ealing – Lucy Taylor, Director – Regeneration & Planning Ealing is booming – it’s a truly exciting period for the region. Lucy is an experienced planning and regeneration director with a proven history within the public sector – including past roles within the London Development Agency and Greenwich Council. She now have 10 years under her bely at Ealing Council – and she has worked on some impressive schemes. But the future will be the focus of her presentation at the London Property Club event, and she’ll be giving an overview of the biggest projects set to happen across the borough and the available development sites and zones, and the ones they’re looking to unlock. @EalingCouncil London Borough of Brent – Alice Lester, Director – Regeneration, Growth & Employment Alice is newly promoted to her role as Director of Regeneration, Growth and Employment within the council and she is therefore bringing a fresh outlook to the role. The Borough of Brent is set to undergo a major transformation, with large regeneration and renewal projects proposed and she’ll be discussing the big projects proposed across the region, with details on how firms can get involved, whilst also delving into the vision the Council has. Their focus is also on building more affordable homes and the council has a housing program made up of their own schemes and also with Peabody, Network Homes The Council is also working on the South Kilburn Estates Regeneration Programme which is a 15 year programme that is nearly halfway through with several other phases to come. @Brent_Council Quintain – Fareen Lalani, Development Director Wembley Park has already seen over £1bn invested into the area – but that is just the start. The area surrounding our national stadium Wembley is being transformed by Quintain – with hotels, homes, retail, leisure, offices and more being developed. This scheme has it all. Fareen will discuss the big details behind the multi-billion pound project as car parks and retail stores are transformed into skyscrapers and thriving retail environments. There is so much planned that Wembley will be unrecognisable in 20-years time. @QuintainLtd Argent – Anthony Peter, Senior Projects Director Anthony has a strong reputation within the industry, having worked at the likes of ARUP before taking up his role within Argent. His current role sees him take responsibility for the commercial operation of the public realm and infrastructure projects at King’s Cross and other Argent projects, as well as taking responsibility for Metropolitan King’s Cross, the energy supply company at King’s Cross. He’ll be discussing best practice surrounding the King’s Cross development but also covering the other Argent projects revealing details of whats in the pipeline. @ArgentLLP Greystar – James Pargeter, Senior Projects Director James joined the development team at Greystar in 2016 – with a focus on the delivery of BTR communities in the UK, a model which is still evolving for the development giants. He heads up engagement with central and local government at a time when policy around BTR and multifamily housing is emerging strongly, whilst connecting with key local stakeholders of projects. With over 20 years’ experience of delivering homes across the whole tenure spectrum he’ll be able to share some incredible expertise with the audience.
