Future Development Plans – Northamptonshire

This online event will focus on major development and regeneration opportunities across Northamptonshire.

Northamptonshire is situated in a prime location to strategically benefit from some of the UK’s most ambitious investment programmes over the coming years. Not only will the £bns of infrastructure investment into the Midlands help connect the region like never before, but the focus on the Oxford Cambridge Arc will further enhance opportunities for investment for the region to maximise.

In this event we’ll be hearing from the Council and a number of developer’s who’re actively eyeing up land and potential development schemes and they’ll be sharing an update and insight into what and where they’re looking to develop.

This event will run in a similar manner to all of our physical events – with short presentations from several key speakers and opportunities for live Q&A and interaction.

• Northampton Borough Council – are laying the groundwork for a multi-million pound town centre regeneration project which will take shape from mid-2021. With a host of big name developers soon to take centre stage and 7 priority sites which will be subject to council lead development- including the 125 hectare Waterside Enterprise Zone- George will go into detail about timelines and procurement opportunities on this session.

• Blocwork – after successfully working in collaboration with Northampton council to deliver phase one of the station gateway redevelopment, Blockwork and the local authority are moving towards creating a masterplan for phase 2 which will include commercial office space and a new multi-story car park. Blocwork are passionate about transforming Northampton and will talk about the future details of their plans as part of this session.

• Northampton Partnership Homes – as the Council’s preferred house builder in the realm of affordable home development, Northampton Partnership Homes have recently announced a new £50m development programme to meet the ever increasing residential demand within the borough. Helen will unveil the organisation’s medium and long term projects and talk about how delegates can get involved in helping them with delivery.
