Future Development Plans – Preston

Monday, 19th October 2020 1345hrs – 1530hrs

This webinar will focus on development and regeneration activity in Preston.

Preston is going places.

In July 2020 the council adopted the Stoneygate masterplan which will herald the beginning of a £300m transformation of the city centre lead by the council but also supplemented with additional investment and development from the private sector.

This webinar will be one of the first opportunities to engage with the masterminds behind the plans and hear from those who’re set to use the plans as a catalyst for further development and regeneration across the wider Preston region.

As part of this webinar, John will go into detail about creating an Urban Village within the city while also detailing the council’s ambition to use the Towns fund to unlock even further development.
  • Maple Grove Developments – are seen by Preston City Council as a key partner in regenerating the city centre. • The Heaton Group – with a development portfolio of over £50m in Lancashire, Heaton Group are heavily immersed in the regeneration of Preston. They are the developer behind the Bishopgate Gardens project which will see the construction of 130 apartments, a coffee shop and shared workspace. An expert in the Preston property market, John can talk in depth about the opportunity to invest in the city and why more major organisations should think about getting involved.
  • Hive Land and Planning – Stuart is a chartered town planner with considerable experience in both the public and private sectors and a track record of delivery.
