This webinar will focus on the development activity in Bristol and the wider city region, whilst also addressing some of the key issues and challenges which we as an industry face in the coming months.   • Eutopia Homes – have £220m worth of development projects in the pipeline across the South West and Scott will be talking about their delivery timeline and the enormous economic growth implications in their locality.
  • First Base – with a brand new announcement of a £175m Soapworks scheme in Bristol city, Lucinda will give in depth intel on their proposals and the fantastic regenerative impact it could have, should their plans be approved. Our delegates will get hot-off-the-press news of opportunities presented by this major project.
  • West of England Combined Authority – devolution has gifted the West of England with almost £1bn over the coming years to drive growth across the region and infrastructure will play a crucial role. We’ll delve into what the 2036 Transport Plan means for development as they look to bring forward new homes, employment sites and digital connectivity also sits high on the agenda.
  • Bristol City Council – Paul will provide an overview of the Council’s housing and development activities and also their reaction to C19; he will focus on the effect on their housing strategy and delivery. We will discuss how the City and the SW in general is performing and how the public and private sectors are working together through lockdown.
  • Willmott Dixon – Gemma sits on the Wales and West Board at Willmott Dixon and has responsibility for all of their projects in pre-construction across Wales and the South West. She will share details of their current projects and pipeline and as one of the main contractors in the SW will talk about the steps that WD are undertaking to maintain momentum during the C19 crisis and how procurement has been affected.
